Vilnius is easily accessible via Vilnius International Airport (VNO), located just 15 minutes from the city center. Alternatively, participants can arrive via Kaunas International Airport (KUN), which is about a 1-1,5 hour drive to Vilnius.
Once in Vilnius airport, there are several convenient ways to reach the city center:
- By public transport: A bus stop is conveniently located just outside Vilnius Airport's arrival hall. There is an express bus (3G) to the city center, a bus (88) to the Old Town, and two buses (1 & 2) to Vilnius Railway Station, all reaching their destinations in about 20-25 minutes. Schedules and e-tickets are available via the Trafi app or m.Ticket app: a 30-minute ticket costs €0,65, a 60-minute ticket - €0,90, a 24-hour pass - €5, and a 72-hour pass - €8. Tickets can also be purchased directly on the bus with your card for €0,90. More information can be found here.
- By train: a dedicated train runs regularly from the airport to Vilnius Railway Station, taking just 8 minutes. Tickets can be purchased online via LTG Link for €0.80.
- By taxi: taxis are available outside the terminal. You’ll also find a number of apps available that operate 24/7, like Bolt and Uber.
